Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Graduate Engineer I for the Land Development group. You will design civil engineering projects under supervision, assist with plans and cost estimates, and support permit applications as part of a collaborative design team.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, has or will obtain a Texas EIT within 2 years, and has passed the FE exam. Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D is preferred.

Graduate Engineer I, Land Development

Halff has an immediate opening for a Civil Engineer in our Land Development group, in Fort Worth, TX. This position contributes to the design and planning of land and site development projects, working collaboratively as part of a design team under the direct supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who has specific experience in land development.

What you will do:

• Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
• Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Land Development projects
• Perform drafting CAD work
• Perform calculations and analysis for design projects
• Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
• Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors
• Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies

What you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Have a current Texas EIT license or the ability to obtain within 2 years of employment
• Passed the FE exam
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D
