Job summary

Halff is seeking a Graduate Engineer I, Energy, to join the Fort Worth, TX office. Target graduates for December 2026 or May 2027.

The role offers exposure to energy sector design and project work under supervision, with a clear path for professional growth and potential ownership within the firm. You will work in a large team, design energy infrastructure, perform analyses, and contribute to permit and regulatory tasks while collaborating with clients and regulators.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree.
  • Texas EIT license or ability to obtain within 2 years of employment.
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable Driving Record.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work with all types of people and skills to get the job done.

Responsibilities

  • Work within a large team environment.
  • Assist with designing energy production, gathering, processing, treating, compression, and pipelines.
  • Design engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer.
  • Perform schematic design work.
  • Perform calculations and analysis for design projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents.
  • Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors and contractors.
  • Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies.

Halff is seeking New Graduates who will graduate in December 2026 or May 2027 for a Graduate Engineer I, Energy in the Fort Worth, TX office with our Energy team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in collaborative team environments, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning.
