Halff seeks a new graduate to join the MEP team as an Electrical Graduate Engineer, supporting design of electrical systems on building projects. You will perform routine calculations and help develop construction plans under supervision.

The role emphasizes collaboration with mechanical and software engineers, adherence to NEC/IESNA, and learning to design power and lighting systems. Expect on-site work in Texas with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or Architecture/Engineering.
• Design, layout, and circuiting equipment for electrical systems, such as lighting and building services.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders including owners.
• Working knowledge of NEC and IESNA; awareness of ASHRAE 90.1 and IECC.

Responsibilities

• Provides design support for electrical systems, including schematics and feasibility studies.
• Participates in projects from initiation to completion within timelines and budgets.
• Ensures compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Assists in risk assessments and safety protocol development.
• Maintains records of design changes, milestones, and equipment performance.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems.
