Job summary

Buro Happold invites applications for aGraduate Electrical Engineer to join our Boston-based team. You will gain hands-on experience on innovative and sustainable building services projects, helping shape communities and address climate change.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will use Revit and computational tools to size systems, prepare drawings, and contribute to design calculations, while developing professional skills through hands-on mentorship and client interaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Coursework in electrical power systems design, control systems, or building systems design.
• Interest in the electrical engineering field with power systems emphasis.
• Familiarity with BIM modelling software such as Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Using Revit, prepare technical drawings, schedules, and reports.
• Analyze load to determine system sizing, and assign circuitry for power and lighting devices.
• Undertake detailed electrical engineering building services design and calculations (using both software and knowledge to verify robust calculations such as Design Master and SKM).
• Embrace the latest technologies to improve performance and sustainability.
