Job summary

University of Michigan is seeking a Graduate Education Program Manager to advance LSA graduate education initiatives and support leadership of faculty and staff in graduate programs. You will collaborate with multiple campus partners to foster a supportive graduate student environment.

The role requires strong organizational, communication, and event-planning skills, with a focus on confidentiality and tact when handling sensitive matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 3-5 years of experience in an academic student service setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication ability, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills are required.
• Experience with web-based systems, word processing, databases, data management, and basic spreadsheets is a must.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-campus prospective student visit weekends with multiple departments.
• Represent LSA at recruitment events and develop new recruitment strategies.
• Administer the annual application fee waiver program and report admissions outcomes.
• Respond to inquiries from prospective applicants via email.
