Highmark Health seeks a Summer 2027 Predictive Modeling & Data Science Graduate Intern in the United States. The role offers hands-on experience in analytics, statistics, and machine learning to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.

Interns work with senior data scientists and business partners to design, develop, and evaluate analytical solutions, exploring new data sources and tools while building practical data storytelling and visualization skills.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree is required; pursuing a graduate degree is expected.
Pursuit of a graduate degree full or part-time in a quantitative field is preferred.
Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistics is desirable.

Responsibilities

Conduct exploratory and statistical analyses to support business decisions.
Assist in developing predictive models and evaluating model results.
Transform and prepare data for analysis and modeling.
Create data visualizations and communicate findings to technical and business audiences.
Research new analytical approaches and emerging techniques.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders on analytics initiatives.
Contribute to end-to-end analytics projects from question to delivery.
