Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in California seeks a CRNA under physician supervision to administer general and regional anesthesia for surgical, obstetrical, and other procedures across age groups from neonatal to geriatric.

The role involves airway management, monitoring, and responding to emergencies; you will collaborate with MDAs, CRNAs and anesthesia techs, and work rotating weekends/holidays at Anaheim and Irvine locations.

Qualifications

Graduate of an educational program in Nurse Anesthesia accredited by COA by date of hire.
Licensed as Registered Nurse in California.
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (California) within 5 months of hire.
ACLS and BLS required at hire.

Responsibilities

Administers anesthesia to all age groups.
Upholds Kaiser Permanente policies and procedures and applicable laws.
Evaluates patients pre-operatively by interviewing and examining.
Selects anesthetic for patient based on pre-operative exam.
Monitors the patient intraoperatively.
Maintains equipment and supplies as outlined in department policies.
May perform other duties within scope of licensure as required.
Note: Must be able to work within an Anesthesia team model with MDAs, CRNAs and Techs.
