Job summary

Aurora University seeks talented adjunct faculty to teach advanced graduate-level courses in Crime Causation Theory and Applied Data Analysis. This is an in-person, on-ground position, requiring availability Mondays and Wednesdays 8 AM–10:30 AM for the Fall 2026 semester.

We value experience teaching research and analytical courses, with emphasis on quantitative methods and social statistics. Candidates should be prepared to help students present findings in professional agency reports.

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching research and analytical courses; preference for graduate-level research and quantitative methods.
  • Proficiency in social statistics and the scientific method; ability to guide high-level data analysis.
  • Experience evaluating policy implications from criminological theory.
  • Ability to train students in professional data presentation and agency reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Teach graduate-level courses in Crime Causation Theory and Applied Data Analysis.
  • Facilitate in-depth examination of theories, historical contexts, and policy applications.
  • Guide students in research design, measurement, and social statistics; prepare professional reports.
