Graduate Civil Engineer - Land Development - Frisco, TX


Halff has an opening for a Graduate Civil Engineer in our Land Development group in Frisco, TX. This position will assist in the planning and design of land and site development projects, working as part of a design team under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who has specific experience in land development. December 2024 or May 2025 graduates are encouraged to apply. Graduate Civil Engineer - Land Development Responsibilities:



  • Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer

  • Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Land Development projects

  • Perform drafting CAD work

  • Perform calculations and analysis for design projects

  • Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents

  • Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors

  • Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies



Graduate Civil Engineer - Land Development Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree

  • New graduates encouraged to apply

  • 0-3 years of experience in land/site development

  • Passed the FE exam or can obtain within 6 months

  • Technical experience with CADD

  • Knowledge of local codes and design criteria

  • Skills Desired: AutoCAD Civil3D
