Job summary

Boot Civil, LLC, an Austin-based civil engineering firm, seeks a Graduate Civil Engineer / EIT to support land development projects in Central Texas. You will gain hands-on experience under PE supervision, building your technical foundation and path toward licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• EIT certification is required; three years of relevant experience preferred.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and foundational land development tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration with PEs, PMs, clients, and permitting agencies.
• Desire to learn and grow within a startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Support civil design and project execution from due diligence through construction.
• Prepare drawings, exhibits, and calculations for grading, drainage, utilities, paving, and site layout.
• Assist in reports, technical memos, and permitting documents.
• Coordinate with City of Austin and Central Texas jurisdictions for submittals.
• Participate in design reviews, QA/QC, and project meetings.
