Qualifications

  • Sign-On Bonus Eligible $10,000

  • 40 Hours per Week
  • Monday - Friday , Days
  • On Call
  • TWO SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
  • 10 Hours, 4 Days per Week:
  • 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or
  • 8 Hours, 5 Days per Week:
  • 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Vascular experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Stress Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echocardiography, and IV Contrast is preferred, though training is available.

Overview

Job Summary

The Registered Diagnostic Sonographer I performs ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical, to adult and pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, and assist with needle procedures (i.e., biopsies, drainages, needle placements, etc.). May also perform vascular procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Performs ultrasound imaging examinations.
  • Performs studies independently in the Operating Room and or portable exams as required by the work area.
  • Maintains equipment and supplies.
  • Ensures proper documentation of procedures.
  • Collaborates with Radiologist and medical staff for diagnosis.
  • Boone Health has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
  • Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: <2 Years
  • Supervisor Experience: None Required
  • RDMS License/Certification or equivalent
  • BLS required within first 30 day of employment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree: Associate Degree – Sonography
