Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking a Graduate Student Intern for the Mission Services Talent Acquisition Team (MSTAT). The role supports business operations with a hybrid on-site/off-site arrangement, focusing on budgeting, accounting, and supply chain tasks while building a pipeline for future employment opportunities.

Qualified candidates are enrolled in a related graduate program, have a bachelor’s degree, and meet GPA requirements.

Qualifications

• Earned bachelor's degree.
• Currently enrolled full-time in a related accredited graduate program.
• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0.
• Ability to work up to 30 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week during the summer.
• U.S. citizenship required to obtain security clearance.
• Pursuing a business administration degree with experience in budgeting, accounting, project management, audit, or supply chain.
• Demonstrated leadership outside of academics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial plans and monitor policy implementation.
• Prepare regular and special reports and analyze variances between costs and budgets.
• Work with technical partners to identify and solve business needs.
• Manage supply chain business needs and assist in managing project schedules or budgets.
• Prepare and facilitate management and customer reviews.
• Serve as the centralized point of contact for funds management and contract processes.
