Job summary

Malone University in Canton, OH is seeking a Part-Time Professional to support the Men’s Basketball program. The role involves coordinating team practices, maintaining facilities and equipment, and assisting with recruiting and academic oversight for student-athletes.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, a 3.0 GPA, and enrollment in a full-time graduate program; a valid driver’s license is required. The work is 20 hours per week with potential tuition remission through the graduate

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 for undergraduate work.
Registered and enrolled in a full-time graduate program.
Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Plans and coordinates team practices.
Maintains and oversees practice facilities and equipment.
Participates in the recruitment of prospective student-athletes.
Oversees the academic progress of all student-athletes within the program.
Assists in scouting and film breakdown.
Facilitates agreed upon academic requirements for student-athletes (i.e. study table, tutoring sessions etc…).
Assists with driving duties for road trips.
