Pennoni Associates is seeking a Graduate/Associate Bridge Engineer in Wyoming Valley, PA to support the design and analysis of highway and railroad bridges, culverts and related structures. The role involves 2-D/3-D modelling with MicroStation/Open Bridge or AutoCAD/Civil 3D and assisting NBIS bridge inspections.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree, are pursuing or have E.I.T. status, and enjoy working on multidisciplinary projects across the Mid-Atlantic region.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• E.I.T. is a plus.
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural focus is a plus.

• Produce high-quality engineering documents for bridge design/inspection reports, specifications, and studies.

Pennoni Associates Is Currently Seeking a Graduate/Associate Bridge Engineer (0-4 Years Of Experience) To Work In Our Wyoming Valley, PA Office With Experience Consistent, But Not Limited To

• Assist with the structural analysis and/or design of Bridges (highway & railroad), culverts, retaining walls, and overhead sign structures on a variety of projects (bridge replacement/rehabilitation, highway improvement, etc.); this includes multi-disciplinary projects for various agencies in the Mid-Atlantic region!
• Assist with plan production by Implementing the use of 2-D and 3-D modelling software for transportation infrastructure projects while utilizing tools like MicroStation / Open Bridge or AutoCADD / Civil 3D.
• Supplement the bridge design functions with involvement with the NBIS Bridge inspections discipline across the Pennoni footprint on an as needed basis (with occasional opportunities for domestic travel).
• Learn and apply professional techniques to produce high-quality engineering documents for use in bridge design / inspection reports, specifications, studies, and other engineering documents.
  

Bridge Engineer Preferred Qualifications

• E.I. / E.I.T. is a plus.
• Established knowledge of civil engineering principles such as development of geometric information, structural analysis, steel/concrete design, basic hydrology/hydraulics, and basic geotechnical/foundation design.
• Relevant experience with engineering software, such as MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Experience and interest in working on various levels of engineering infrastructure projects in the Mid-Atlantic region.
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering focus is a plus!
• Bridge engineering experience with a major agency is a plus.
• Knowledge of structural analysis programs (e.g.: STAAD, LEAP Bridge, LEAP Concrete, AASHTOWare, BrR, BRASS, SAP/CSI, MicroStation, etc.) is a plus!
  

Basic Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (e.g.: Structural Engineering, etc.).
• Driving is a requirement of the position. A clean driving record is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
