Sul Ross State University, an NCAA Division II institution located in Alpine, Texas, and a member of the Lone Star Conference, is currently seeking qualified applicants for a graduate assistant position in the department of athletics for softball.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Head Softball Coach and Assistant Softball Coach. In this role, the successful applicant will be working closely with the student-athletes at SRSU .
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assist in practice and game planning and preparation; assist in recruiting prospective student-athletes; support of student-athlete success on during play and in the classroom; hospitality; travel management; gameday operations; and other duties as assigned.
Other InformationWorking Conditions: Office conditions; standard hours. May work weekends and some holidays.
Security Sensitive: This position is classified as Security-Sensitive and is thereby subject to the provisions of Texas Education Code §51.215 and Texas Government Code §411.094, which authorize employers to obtain and review criminal history record information for applicants.
