Job summary

Benedictine College in Atchison, KS seeks a Graduate Assistant for Recreational Services to assist in the Murphy Recreation Center, intramural sports and events.

The GA must be accepted into the Benedictine College graduate program and remain in good standing to continue. Responsibilities include staff training, equipment management, and event setup in multiple athletic facilities, while upholding NAIA guidelines and Champions of Character.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Acceptance into Benedictine College graduate program is required to be selected for GA position.
• Knowledge of NAIA rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day operation of the Murphy Recreation Center, Intramural Sports and Events.
• Inventory of equipment and assist in purchasing and equipment maintenance.
• Train employees on operation and guidelines of the recreation center and intramural program.
• Intramural event observations and personnel evaluations.
• Coordinate setup for special events in the Murphy Recreation Center and athletic facilities.
• Represent Benedictine College and the department professionally, upholding NAIA Champions of Character.
