Job Summary

The Graduate Assistant Men's Volleyball Coach assists with the day‑to‑day management of the men's volleyball team, including coaching, recruiting, and administrative duties. The role includes night and weekend work and requires a commitment to Christian higher education and a servant‑leadership style.

Essential Functions & Duties

• Recruit, train, and coach members of the athletic program.
• Recruit, retain, and graduate student‑athletes who contribute to the success of the program and campus life.
• Fundraising and friend‑raising for the advancement of the program.
• Provide oversight of student‑athletes’ academic progress toward degree completion.
• Assist with administrative duties as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to NAIA rules and regulations, including the NAIA Champions of Character core values.
• Provide leadership for campus involvement and community service.
• Provide Christ‑centered leadership and direction for the volleyball program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of and experience in collegiate sports as an athlete and/or staff member.
• Effective communication and motivational skills.
• Positive role model for student‑athletes, university personnel, and members of the community.
• Knowledge of NAIA rules and regulations.
