Salary: $1,250 monthly

Minimum Requirements: Enrolled in a Sul Ross MS program.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, experience in cybersecurity research or analysis, strong writing and communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively remotely, proficiency in Microsoft Office, ability to support students, faculty, and administration professionally, ability to work 20 hours per week, and experience engaging with Oil & Gas industry stakeholders is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participate in research on Midstream Industry Cybersecurity issues.
• Produce research papers, op-eds, policy briefs, and reports.
• Collaborate on policy and training materials.
• Present research findings at webinars, conferences, and public forums.
• Provide commentary on cybersecurity topics for media and public inquiries.
• Coordinate activities with a faculty mentor.

Other Information:

Texas Law requires a 60-day waiting period before new state employees can enroll in health insurance.
