The Graduate Assistant (GA) for the Oakland University-ABA Autism Clinic is an Oakland University (OU) graduate student who works under the guidance of the Director of the OU ABA Clinic. The GA is involved in a variety of projects, tasks, and trainings focused on ABA therapy for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Hours:

Part-time (20 hours per week)

Shift/Days:

This is a part-time position with occasional evenings or weekends required.

Desired Qualifications:

Intermediate level of knowledge regarding best practices of ABA therapy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  1. Run an effective ABA Therapy Session with diverse populations.
  2. Independently work on assigned tasks to completion by deadlines.
  3. Organize and maintain procedural and assessment materials.
  4. Develop resource materials for students, parents, faculty, and staff, adhering to the OU branding guidelines.
  5. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Acceptance into OU’s graduate school and enrolled full-time (at least 8 credits).
  2. Maintain good academic standing (3.0 grade point average or better).
