Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related field.
• 6+ months of clerical office experience.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization; able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexible hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain applicant files, coordinate with applicants via phone and email, and enter data into the university system.
• Assist with recruitment efforts including inquiries from applicants and prospective students.
• Provide policy and procedural information regarding academics and institutional guidelines to incoming students.
• Assist students in developing educational goals, selecting majors, meeting graduation requirements, and exploring experiential learning opportunities.
• Maintain student counseling and participation records.
• Procure office supplies, marketing ads, and registration fees; manage purchasing.
• Manage front desk coverage and schedule student workers to ensure 9 a.m.–5 p.m. coverage.
• Perform other clerical and office tasks as needed.
