Job summary

W3Global is seeking a Grading Operator in Massachusetts to support paving and site development projects. You will operate skid steers, excavators, loaders, rollers, and related equipment to establish and maintain grade.

Responsibilities include reading plans, assisting with layout and elevations, and performing grading and site prep with a strong emphasis on safety and quality workmanship. This seasonal full-time role requires reliability, teamwork, and flexibility for overtime and snow

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of grading, excavation, or heavy construction experience preferred.
• Experience operating grading and earthmoving equipment in commercial construction.
• Ability to establish grade using stakes, lasers, GPS, or other methods.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate grading equipment (skid steers, excavators, loaders, rollers).
• Establish and maintain proper grade to support crews and paving operations.
• Assist with layout, elevations, grade checking, and project measurements.
• Read and interpret plans, blueprints, grade stakes, and specs.
• Perform excavation, grading, and site preparation per specs.
• Maintain equipment condition and perform basic maintenance.
