Job summary

Talley Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator for road and highway construction projects in the Georgia/Chattanooga area. The role requires operating heavy equipment on site with attention to grading and drainage specifications.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in heavy road construction equipment, along with a strong safety mindset and the ability to learn new equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience operating heavy road construction equipment.
• Ability to learn to operate other equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Must understand all aspects of construction including grades, drainage and job specs.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures and company policies.
• Attend as required to ensure crew operates at normal efficiency.
• Maintain courteous and professional relations with coworkers, customers and the public.
