About Us

Camellia Waldorf School, located along the Sacramento River, is an established Waldorf School since 1989. Our intimate community is supportive and strongly committed to Waldorf Education. Our rich program offers many learning opportunities for toddlers to teens that meets their developmental milestones.

Our school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic part-time Eurythmy Teacher to join our faculty for the upcoming school year. This role offers the opportunity to bring movement, music, and imagination to life while contributing to a vibrant and collaborative Waldorf community.

The Role

The Eurythmy teacher is an integral member of our teaching team and will:

• Teach Eurythmy across various grade levels (flexible scheduling, such as block or semester teaching, may be considered)
• Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate Eurythmy curriculum rooted in Waldorf pedagogy
• Collaborate closely with class teachers and specialty faculty to support student growth and class community
• Build and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents

Qualifications

The ideal candidate:

• Holds a recognized Eurythmy training (completed or in progress)
• Has at least 2 years of experience working with children across age groups (more experience preferred)
• Demonstrates warmth, creativity, and enthusiasm in working with students
• Is collaborative, dependable, and organized
