Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring a Grader to assess donated goods for quality and determine readiness for sales and training conversion. You will work across store operations to keep daily production on track and support our mission to create vocational opportunities.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication in English, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Full-time and part-time positions with flexible schedules are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong English written and spoken communication.
• Detail oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Forklift certification (18+) or ability to obtain it as part of training.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.
• Process goods to meet daily production goals.
• Pivot to multiple work areas to support daily goals.
• Identify and resolve problems; seek management support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members.
• Promote cooperation and teamwork with peers.
• Follow training playbooks and work instructions.
• Maintain a neat and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety and security practices; report hazards.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
