GRADE New York seeking Job Captain in New York, NY, US

The Job Captain will manage and support the development and delivery of architectural projects ranging from small to midsize to large. They will be responsible for the simultaneous coordination of multiple projects and tasks under the direction of a Project Manager or Studio Director. The role includes delegating tasks among support staff and consultants. This is a full-time, salaried exempt position.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Perform drafting and presentation work
2. Interpret design direction into sketches, drawings & 3D models
3. Coordinate materials and color palettes needed for client presentations
4. Develop sketch details into construction documents and assemble detail sheets
5. Prepare and process construction documents through plan check
6. Develop project schedules and budgets
7. Consult technical handbooks and guidelines and assist in landlord research
8. Ability to interpret and apply state and local code compliances
9. Prepare documents for project authorization and manage bidding processes
