Grade Level Paraprofessional (4th & 5th Grade)

Hillendale Elementary School

5 hours per day x 111 days per year (3 days/week - Mon, Tue, Wed)

Salary: $14.37 per hour

Available: August 25, 2025

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma - experience preferred
  • Ability to handle interruptions

  • Ability to collaborate with teachers and staff

Essential Job Functions
  • Assist students with subject matter
  • Supervise recess and lunch; provide classroom coverage
  • Prepare learning materials and centers (primary)
  • Perform clerical duties, such as recording scores
  • Work with, assist, observe, and redirect students
  • Provide re-teaching and academic support
  • Organize classroom activities
  • Teach social behavior
  • Assist children experiencing difficulties
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Clearances required for employment:
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
  • Pennsylvania State Criminal Record Check (Act 34)
  • Federal Criminal History Record Check (Act 114)
  • Act 168 Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release: The Unionville-Chadds Ford School District uses an online process for submission and processing of required Act 168 forms. Candidates will receive further information during the selection process.
