Atlantis Charter School is seeking a dedicated teacher to join our team and place students first in both academic and social-emotional support. The ideal candidate will build rapport with students, collaborate with staff, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

• Has an understanding of the various challenges students in an urban setting face and is able to adapt teaching style and approach as needed
• Knowledge of charter schools and an understanding of what makes charter schools different

Additional requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in the area of certification preferred.
• Valid Teaching License recognized by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education or evidence of eligibility to obtain such licensure within one year of employment.
• Experience using technology in the classroom preferred.
• At least one year of teaching experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to relate well to others.

REPORTS TO:Principal

SUPERVISION: Oversees work of paraprofessionals in the classroom. As directed by the Principal, may contribute to paraprofessional annual evaluation.
