Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Massachusetts middle school certification for grades 6-8.
• SEI endorsement required within 1 year of start.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in urban public or charter settings is preferred.
• Dual certification (ESL or Special Education) is a plus.
• Second language proficiency (Spanish and/or Portuguese) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Launch and maintain a co-constructed culture of joy, mutual respect, and empowerment for students.
• Collaborate with team members to align learning with district vision and goals.
• Design and implement personalized learning experiences using data and multiple modalities.
• Utilize technology and learning tools (e.g., Desmos, STAR, My Perspectives) to support equitable access to learning.
