Job summary

Loudoun County Public Schools in Leesburg, VA seeks an elementary teacher to plan, design, implement, and assess instructional programs for a diverse student body from kindergarten through fifth grade.

The teacher will use Virginia Standards of Learning, LCPS curricula, and assessment strategies to maximize achievement, personalize instruction, and collaborate with parents and staff throughout the school year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• Holds or eligible for a Virginia teaching license with appropriate endorsement.
• Knowledge of elementary content, curriculum, and effective teaching methods.
• Ability to apply current research to instructional programs.
• Ability to collaborate with students, peers, admins, and parents.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
