Qualifications

• License in the field or subject required by the state for this position.
• DESE SEI endorsement is required.
• Bilingual educator experience or qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans units and lessons and delivers instruction aligned to State standards and district curriculum.
• Provides ongoing formative and summative assessments and analyzes data to determine student learning needs.
• Adapts curriculum and instruction to meet varied student strengths and needs.
• Establishes and maintains culturally responsive two-way communication with families.
• Collaborates with educators for specialized instruction and social-emotional support.
• Maintains a safe, welcoming, and equitable learning environment per school/district guidance.
• Participates in professional growth and implements new instructional methods.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by the Principal/Supervisor per SEU Unit A.
