Job summary

ReNEW Schools in Indiana is seeking a full-time teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The role reports to the Building Principal and requires a valid Indiana teaching license for the appropriate grade level and subject, plus strong skills in reading instruction and data-driven planning.

You will implement MTSS, integrate technology, and collaborate with Academic coaches and specialist teachers to support every student.

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana teaching license for the relevant grade level and subject.
• Ability to administer running records and interpret results.
• Knowledge of science of reading framework.
• Willingness to work with Academic coach on evidence-based instructional practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff.

Responsibilities

• Learn, develop, and implement strategies and lessons.
• Implement science of reading strategies.
• Incorporate technology throughout instruction.
• Establish positive relationships and manage student behavior using PBIS.
• Create and administer assessments to evaluate student progress and customize instruction.
• Plan instructional lessons per state and district guidelines.
• Implement MTSS with data in the student management system.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and administrators.
• Establish regular parent communication via email, calls or notes.
• Participate in professional development and PLCs to improve teaching and learning.
• Update records accurately and follow district policies.
• Implement corporation policies and programs.
