Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent required.

• Associate degree or equivalent educational credits.
• Completion of 48 semester hours or equivalent.
• WorkKeys assessments completed with 96 staff development hours.

Responsibilities

• Cooperates in developing classroom procedures and assists in material preparation.
• Maintains awareness of goals and objectives of supervising teachers.
• Assists in implementing the planned program and communicates program evaluation data.
• Participates in activities to improve the total school program and supports safe student supervision.
• Carries out clerical duties and maintains classroom files and records as required.
• Demonstrates technical skill with equipment and assembles materials to maximize use.

Education

Graduation from high school

Possession of an equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position

Qualifications required under the provisions of “No Child Left Behind’

Associate degree, or

Completion of 48 semester hours of college credits, or

Successful completion of a series of WorkKeys assessments plus earn 96 contact hours of appropriate staff development
