Job summary

CoreWeave in New York is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure, platforms, and internal tools. You will help improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability of systems powering CoreWeave's infrastructure validation and performance testing.

You will collaborate with the fleet, product, and hardware teams to evolve our GPU performance testing platform and ensure a reliable, performant experience for customers.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Go or Python development.
  • 2–5 years of software engineering experience.
  • Hands-on production Kubernetes experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable test and validation solutions for CoreWeave's cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and improve performance tests and automation workflows for hardware validation across the fleet.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain Kubernetes custom controllers and operators in production.
  • Extend open-source tools to improve visibility into system metrics, performance, and health.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation.

About The Role

A Software Engineer contributes to the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's cloud infrastructure, platforms, and internal tools. This role focuses on improving the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of systems that power CoreWeave's infrastructure validation and performance testing. You’ll partner with fleet, product, and hardware teams to evolve our GPU performance testing platform to ensure we deliver a reliable and performant experience to our customers.

What You’ll Do
  • Implement and maintain solutions to problems of scale for testing and validation of CoreWeave’s global infrastructure.
  • Develop and improve performance tests and automation workflows to expand hardware validation across the CoreWeave fleet.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain Kubernetes custom controllers and operators that automate infrastructure testing.
  • Adapt and extend open source tooling to enhance visibility into system metrics, performance, and health.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation.
What We’re Looking For
  • IC2: ~2–5 years
  • Competency in Go and/or Python software development.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes at production scale.
Nice to have
  • Experience building backend services.
  • Experience testing hardware at scale.
  • HPC Experience.
  • Experience with AI/ML infrastructure and training / inference.

The base salary range for this role is $120,000 to $160,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
