Vultr seeks an Associate Infrastructure Production Engineer to ensure GPU hardware validation across a global production environment. The role requires strong Linux skills, Python scripting, and a detail-oriented approach to automation and testing.

You will collaborate with engineering to refine testing processes, close automation gaps, and build solutions that reduce deployment risk and improve production standards. This is a high-visibility role in a fast-growing cloud company.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux proficiency in production environments.
• Ability to write and modify Python and shell scripts.
• Experience with infrastructure automation or CM tools (e.g., Ansible) is preferred.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated diagnostic and validation frameworks for GPU hardware.
• Develop Python-based agents and Ansible automation to orchestrate provisioning and telemetry.
• Analyze performance and diagnostics to improve validation methodologies and readiness standards.
• Evolve testing and verification processes for production onboarding and RMAs.
• Contribute to production stability by building tooling that gates deployment and enforces quality.
