Philips is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Image Reconstruction to help re-architect a CT image-reconstruction pipeline into a GPU-native, scalable platform using C++ and CUDA. You will work with physicists, algorithm designers, and platform engineers to translate complex signal and image-processing models into high-performance GPU code.

This hybrid role is based in Cleveland, OH, with three days in the office and two days remote.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience developing and maintaining complex software systems in C++.
Experience with GPU programming (CUDA/OpenCL/HIP) or optimized code for resource-constrained environments.
Strong mathematical background and exposure to image/signal processing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with global teams.

Responsibilities

Re-architect CT image reconstruction pipeline as a GPU-native, scalable platform in C++/CUDA.
Translate signal and image-processing models into high-performance GPU code.
Collaborate with physics, algorithm, and platform teams to deploy reconstruction software.
Push performance engineering, memory optimization, and exploration of learned models.
