Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Compiler Verification Engineer, Compute Performance to join our Compiler Verification Team. You will analyze performance degradation or defects in compilers, automate testing, and drive improvements across test operations and tooling.

The role requires strong SDLC and HPC knowledge, compiler domain expertise, and experience with C/C++/CUDA plus scripting languages. Equity and benefits are offered, with a base salary range disclosed in the posting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years' work experience in a software development or test organization.
• Excellent communications skills, self-motivated and well organized.
• Deep understanding of SDLC, HPC, and Software Testing Methodologies.
• Compiler domain expertise with strong problem-solving.
• Ability to work with multiple teams to solve performance regressions.
• Experience writing test plans, development, automation, execution and reporting.
• Programming experience in C/C++/CUDA and scripting languages (Python, Perl, Shell).

Responsibilities

• Analyze performance degradation or functional defect of compilers, identify root causes and suggest corrective action.
• Automate compiler testing using NVIDIA frameworks and programming, including test execution and results analysis.
• Utilize test suites to discover, report, and track performance changes; generate statistics and monitor trends.
• Develop and review test plans, implement tests, and integrate into NVIDIA test management frameworks.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to quality initiatives.
