Job summary

NVIDIA Architecture Research Group is seeking an intern to help define the future of GPU and data-center computing. This internship offers exposure to GPU microarchitecture, memory systems, and data-center hardware, with opportunities to collaborate with leading researchers and engineers.

You will apply knowledge of computer architecture, parallel computing, compilers, runtime systems, and workloads to explore hardware-software co-design, build models and simulators, and evaluate concepts for

Qualifications

Pursuing PhD in CS, CE, EE, Physics, or Math.
Industrial and University experience in hardware, software, or algorithm development.
Strong programming in C/C++, and scripting languages.
Experience as a CUDA programmer and building simulators.
Background in computer architecture and parallel architectures.

Responsibilities

Investigate new architecture concepts for future GPUs and data-center platforms.
Study emerging workloads to identify bottlenecks.
Explore hardware-software co-design across architecture, compilers, runtimes.
Develop models, simulators, prototypes, and experimental tools.
Research memory hierarchy, coherence, data movement, and system programmability.
Collaborate with NVIDIA researchers and product teams to evaluate concepts.
Present findings via presentations, reports, and publications; transfer ideas to product teams.
