Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for AWS Hardware Engineering Services, AI Ultraservers. You will own manufacturing stability, optimize processes, and collaborate with design, supply chain, and contract manufacturers to scale GPU accelerator platforms from design through production ramp.

You will debug complex failures on the line, drive test strategy, and implement improvements across hardware, firmware, and software interfaces to maximize throughput and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or manufacturing engineering experience in high-tech hardware.
• Hands-on hardware debugging across electrical, firmware, and mechanical domains.
• Experience with SMT assembly processes and PCB fabrication for HDI boards.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end NPI manufacturing execution for GPU accelerator platforms across EVT/DVT/PVT builds and pilot production.
• Define Manufacturing Test Strategy including test flows, fixtures, and buy-off criteria.
• Lead DFx reviews (DFM/DFA/DFT) and drive design improvements with hardware engineering teams.
• Create manufacturing capacity plans with line balance and cycle time analysis.
• Collaborate with ODMs/CMs and internal teams to ensure manufacturability and ramp readiness.
