Awetomaton is seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to support Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. You will develop and optimize computer vision algorithms to extract actionable insights from remote sensing imagery using Python, C++, and NVIDIA CUDA. Active Top Secret clearance is required.

A BS degree or higher in engineering or a related field with 3–7 years of experience is expected. The role will be performed largely from WPAFB, with an anticipated December start.

Formación

• BS degree in a relevant engineering or science field; 3+ years in CV/image processing
• Experience with remote sensing imagery (EO/IR) preferred
• GPU-accelerated algorithm development using NVIDIA CUDA
• Proficient in Python (NumPy/SciPy/OpenCV) and C++
• Experience translating research into maintainable software with Git

Responsabilidades

• Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for remote sensing imagery
• Accelerate computationally intensive tasks with CUDA and GPU computing
• Collaborate with a small team and stakeholders to deliver robust software
• Translate research prototypes into production-ready code
• Ensure software is maintainable, well-documented, and version-controlled
