Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking an experienced operator to run GPS-equipped heavy equipment on renewable energy project sites. You will perform land clearing, grading, and excavation, ensuring safety and adherence to designs.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of GPS-based operation experience. Travel to jobsites may be required, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• GPS proficiency in operator role.
• 2+ years experience operating equipment using GPS on construction sites.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with safety policies.
• Operate GPS-equipped dozers for mass and fine grading.
• Perform cut/fill to meet design grades and plans.
• Read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and GPS models.
• May build level or extreme terrain and excavate land surfaces.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew hand signals and traffic.
