Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, Twin Falls, ID, seeks a GPS Field Technician to perform survey and machine control duties on construction sites.

You will read drawings, establish layouts, check grades, and assist with GPS/GNSS equipment while ensuring safety and following company policies.

Role involves lifting up to 100 lbs, field inspections, and working across aggregate pit, ready mix, asphalt locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Thorough knowledge in site work and utility construction preferred.
• 1+ year’s previous related experience in construction required.

Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA/MSHA safety procedures and report issues to supervisor.
• Read and interpret project drawings relevant to site work.
• Establish and maintain site layout and construction staking.
• Set grades for utility installations.
• Support GPS motor grader and/or paver.
• Perform daily site inspections and document findings.
• Work with TOPCON GPS/GNSS equipment on various site locations.
