Job summary

Morgan Corp. is seeking a GPS Dozer Operator to join our Operations team in Raleigh, NC. This role uses GPS-enabled dozers on heavy civil and site development projects, with emphasis on safe, precise grading and yard work.

You will read and interpret site plans, lay out grades, and coordinate with foremen and survey crews to maintain project quality and schedule. Strong safety mindset and ability to work outdoors in varied conditions are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating dozers on heavy civil, site development, earthwork or utility projects is required.
• Experience using GPS machine control or grade control systems is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and project specs.
• Current driver’s license is required.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to perform physical work and work in open outdoor conditions.
• Prior safety training (e.g., trenching, rigging, confined space, first aid) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate GPS-equipped dozers for mass excavation, grading, and backfill per plans.
• Use GPS grade control to maintain elevations, slopes, and lines per specifications.
• Read site plans and stake information to complete tasks accurately.
• Coordinate with foremen, survey crews, and other operators to maintain production and safety.
• Perform daily pre-operation inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Follow all safety rules and wear PPE; assist with other site-work as needed.
• Support crew to keep projects moving and deliver quality work on schedule.
