Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of GPS dozer experience.
• Experience with finish / fine-grade work.
• Experience with basic tools and being mechanically inclined.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
• Solid knowledge of safety precautions on construction sites.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, fumes and loud noise.
• Ability to work independently and follow schedule.
• Reliable attendance and dependability.
• Must provide personal transportation to the job site.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Perform documented pre-shift 360 walk-around inspection of the equipment.
• Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate the dozer.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew signals during loading and moving operations.
• Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, and material on site.
• Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Perform daily maintenance and housekeeping including inspection and greasing.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Operate other equipment as needed.
