What We Are Looking For:

An experienced GPS Dozer Operator for our Asheboro, NC area projects who can safely operate the equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform documented pre-shift 360 walk-around inspection of the equipment.
2. Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate the stated equipment.
3. Coordinate machine actions with other activities, positioning or moving loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members.
4. Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, and material.
5. Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
6. Must perform daily maintenance and housekeeping including inspection, checking fluid levels, greasing, and cleaning.
7. Follow safety policies and procedures.
8. Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.
9. Operate other equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience operating a GPS dozer.
2. Must have experience with finish/fine-grade work.
3. Experience with basic tools and being mechanically inclined.
4. Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
5. A thorough knowledge of safety precautions while working.
6. Work requires exposure to construction site environments having extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, smoke, hazardous substances, and loud noise levels.
7. Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
8. Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
9. Provide personal transportation to and from the job site.
10. Willingness to learn and adapt to change.
