Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) in Pennsylvania seeks a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead site-wide Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, driving safety, quality, delivery and cost improvements. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, or related field such as math, science, technology, STEM.
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• 8+ years of experience leading continuous improvement, operationalexcellence or production-system deployment.
• 4+ years of experience in regulated manufacturing, such as biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, medicaldevice or a comparable environment. GxP or FDA experience is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience teaching and coaching continuous improvement including problem solving using DMAIC or A3 methodologies
• 1+ years ofexperience with strategy deployment (Hoshi n Kan ri) at site or business-unit level
• 1+ year of experience building or strengthening a Lean management system
• 1+ years of experience leading cross-functional change

As a GPS Continuous Improvement Manager, you will lead continuous improvement activities across the site to improve performance around safety, quality, delivery, cost and people pillars. You will work closely with manufacturing, quality, MSAT, engineering, EHS and supply chain teams to identify opportunities, run improvement projects, and embed sustainable ways of working. Working pattern

This role is on-site. You will be expected to work on-site regularly to engage with frontline teams and attend meetings. Some remote work is supported to enable flexible collaboration in case by case basis.

Preferred Qualification

• Line leadership experience in manufacturing or supply chain with direct accountability for operational performance.
• Lean/Six SigmaBlack Belt or Master Black Belt certification.
• Experience designing and delivering capabilitybuilding programs
• Experience establishing or improving an employee improvement-idea process, with evidence of participation, implementation and sustained use.
• Experience using data and analytics inimprovement work and assessing where digital, automation or AI can add value.
• Proven track record delivering measurable operational improvements.
• Strongfacilitation and coaching skills with the ability to influence across functions.
• Practical knowledge of ERP or MES systems and industrial analytics.
• Project management experience, including sprint planning and dependency management.
• Experience developing leaders and building capability at scale.
• Familiarity with statistical tools or process capability analysis.
