About the Role
We're seeking a highly organized, execution-oriented GPO Enablement Manager to oversee and improve the day-to-day operations of our GPO. You'll play a critical role in making sure supplier programs, customer implementations, pricing workflows, reporting, and internal processes run efficiently and consistently. Our sales team will secure new memberships and program sign-ups and you will be expected to drive the implementation of supplier programs and ensure customer and program success over time.
The ideal candidate works autonomously, is detail-oriented and process-driven, is comfortable managing multiple priorities, and can drive accountability across teams. You think strategically while ensuring operational excellence in execution.
Key Responsibilities
Customer onboarding & implementation
- Manage the onboarding and implementation of new customer accounts onto the GPO's supplier programs, with a clear plan for each program a customer has signed up for.
- Coordinate supplier setup, pricing/catalog activation, ordering processes, and go-live so customers start transacting on GPO terms quickly.
- Lead supplier transitions from incumbent vendors to CenterPoint programs, including transition planning and stakeholder communication, with minimal disruption to day-to-day purchasing.
- Monitor implementation timelines and ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Serve as the operational point of contact between customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Manage key customer accounts, drive program adoption and utilization, and ensure customers capture the savings they signed up for.
- Identify additional savings and program opportunities within existing accounts on an ongoing basis, and track conversion progress, utilization, and retention.
- Support supplier relationship management and performance monitoring.
- Lead procurement consulting projects from opportunity identification through supplier implementation.
- Analyze customer spend data to identify sourcing opportunities, savings potential, supplier consolidation, and process improvements.
- Evaluate supplier proposals and present recommendations based on cost, service capability, contract terms, implementation feasibility, and savings impact.
- Coordinate sourcing and supplier transition activities across categories such as MRO, office supplies, packaging, IT, and facilities.
Savings, reporting & data
- Track, validate, and report realized savings against baseline spend and projected targets, and ensure analytics-identified opportunities are operationalized.
- Work closely with internal analytics and sales teams to keep reporting accurate, timely, and client-ready.
- Develop and maintain operational KPIs, dashboards, process documentation, and savings trackers.
- Ensure customer and supplier data integrity across systems.
Operations & cross-functional leadership
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements that improve speed, quality, and consistency.
- Create repeatable workflows and operational standards to support scalable growth.
- Coordinate across sales, analytics, supplier management, customer success, and leadership, driving accountability for deliverables, timelines, and customer outcomes.
- Facilitate recurring operational meetings and ensure follow-through on action items.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, operations, supply chain, or GPO management.
- Experience managing RFPs, supplier negotiations, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Proven ability to implement suppliers and track realized savings.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Experience working with suppliers, pricing programs, and procurement workflows.
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail and accountability.
- Procurement consulting, GPO, distribution, or indirect spend experience preferred.
