Job description

CenterPoint Group is a group purchasing organization (GPO) and trusted procurement advisor that helps organizations take control of their indirect spend. By aggregating the buying power of our members across more than "$1 billion" in collective indirect spend, we give customers immediate access to pre-negotiated supplier agreements across categories like office supplies, telecom, MRO, packaging, IT, and facilities, often delivering meaningful savings within the first month.

About the Role

We're seeking a highly organized, execution-oriented GPO Enablement Manager to oversee and improve the day-to-day operations of our GPO. You'll play a critical role in making sure supplier programs, customer implementations, pricing workflows, reporting, and internal processes run efficiently and consistently. Our sales team will secure new memberships and program sign-ups and you will be expected to drive the implementation of supplier programs and ensure customer and program success over time.

The ideal candidate works autonomously, is detail-oriented and process-driven, is comfortable managing multiple priorities, and can drive accountability across teams. You think strategically while ensuring operational excellence in execution.

Key Responsibilities
Customer onboarding & implementation
  • Manage the onboarding and implementation of new customer accounts onto the GPO's supplier programs, with a clear plan for each program a customer has signed up for.
  • Coordinate supplier setup, pricing/catalog activation, ordering processes, and go-live so customers start transacting on GPO terms quickly.
  • Lead supplier transitions from incumbent vendors to CenterPoint programs, including transition planning and stakeholder communication, with minimal disruption to day-to-day purchasing.
  • Monitor implementation timelines and ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Serve as the operational point of contact between customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Manage key customer accounts, drive program adoption and utilization, and ensure customers capture the savings they signed up for.
  • Identify additional savings and program opportunities within existing accounts on an ongoing basis, and track conversion progress, utilization, and retention.
  • Support supplier relationship management and performance monitoring.
  • Lead procurement consulting projects from opportunity identification through supplier implementation.
  • Analyze customer spend data to identify sourcing opportunities, savings potential, supplier consolidation, and process improvements.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals and present recommendations based on cost, service capability, contract terms, implementation feasibility, and savings impact.
  • Coordinate sourcing and supplier transition activities across categories such as MRO, office supplies, packaging, IT, and facilities.
Savings, reporting & data
  • Track, validate, and report realized savings against baseline spend and projected targets, and ensure analytics-identified opportunities are operationalized.
  • Work closely with internal analytics and sales teams to keep reporting accurate, timely, and client-ready.
  • Develop and maintain operational KPIs, dashboards, process documentation, and savings trackers.
  • Ensure customer and supplier data integrity across systems.
Operations & cross-functional leadership
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements that improve speed, quality, and consistency.
  • Create repeatable workflows and operational standards to support scalable growth.
  • Coordinate across sales, analytics, supplier management, customer success, and leadership, driving accountability for deliverables, timelines, and customer outcomes.
  • Facilitate recurring operational meetings and ensure follow-through on action items.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, operations, supply chain, or GPO management.
  • Experience managing RFPs, supplier negotiations, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Proven ability to implement suppliers and track realized savings.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Experience working with suppliers, pricing programs, and procurement workflows.
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and accountability.
  • Procurement consulting, GPO, distribution, or indirect spend experience preferred.
  • Competitive salary + performance bonus.
  • Health insurance, PTO, 401(k), and other benefits.
  • Growth opportunities within a fast-growing, technology-driven procurement organization.
