Job summary

Big Blue Marble Academy in Georgia is hiring a Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher to guide a play-based curriculum that takes children on adventures around the world while developing developmentally appropriate skills. You will build daily rapport with families and document milestones using electronic reports.

This role emphasizes safety, classroom management, and inclusive practices. The right candidate holds an AA/BA in Early Childhood Education, Georgia Pre-K credentials, and prior licensed childcare

Qualifications

• AA or BA in Early Childhood Education is required.
• Georgia Pre-K credential (T-4/T-5) or CDA accepted with certification.
• Six months experience in licensed childcare or equivalent.

As a Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher, you will:

• Plan and implement activities using our play-based curriculum that takes children on an adventure around the world as they learn developmentally appropriate skills and concepts.
• Develop rapport with families daily. Use electronic daily reports to share milestones captured throughout the day.
• Follow enhanced safety guidelines to keep your classroom clean and safe

Requirements

• Must have AA or BA Degree in Early Childhood Education
• AA or BA Degree in another field considered if CDA, TCC or Certification to Teach Georgia Pre-K (T-4)(T-5) P-5 or P-8 can be provided
• Six months experience working in a licensed childcare facility
• Must meet current credential requirements as outlined by Georgia Pre-K
• Employees are required to stand (six to eight hours daily), stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, etc. while working with children.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
• Must be able to visually supervise children at all times.
