Job summary

Goddard Veterinary Group in Plaistow is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon for a full-time role. You will provide a comprehensive GP service, manage a varied caseload and work within a supportive network that includes Wanstead Veterinary Hospital for internal referrals and 24-hour backup.

We value confident clinicians who enjoy client relationships and are keen on developing skills in surgery and dentistry within a busy first-opinion practice. Training and team backing are strong.

Qualifications

• Confidently provide a full GP service.
• Interest in surgery and dentistry is a bonus.
• Able to build strong relationships with clients and pets.

Responsibilities

• Carry out consultations and recommend management and treatment per best practice and GVG protocols.
• Perform GP surgery within personal competence.
• Prescribe/dispense medications per medicines legislation and RCVS guidance.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and histories for colleagues.
• Refer cases to Wanstead Veterinary Hospital when needed.
