Job summary
Cherokee Federal is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, build, and deliver solutions on the Salesforce platform for a government client. You will work across Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Flow to translate business requirements into scalable, high-quality solutions. Strong coding with declarative skills is required to support public sector missions.
The role requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Government Public Trust Clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.
- Ten years of general work experience.
- Three years of experience in Lightning Web Components and Visualforce.
- Full-stack engineering with experience deploying Salesforce production enterprise applications.
- Strong Salesforce platform expertise and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Flow.
- Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (design, coding, testing, deployment).
- Use Flow to solve complex requirements and bridge to code when needed.
- Develop scalable code following best practices and standards.
- Build LWC and Visualforce pages meeting business requirements and integrate with other systems.
- Perform code reviews to ensure quality and standards adherence.
- Troubleshoot and debug Salesforce applications in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery.
- Stay current on Salesforce releases and recommend process enhancements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
