Job summary

UHY-US is seeking an Audit Intern to gain hands-on experience in audit and assurance, working with seasoned professionals to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting for a diverse client base.

You will collaborate on data entry, documentation, basic analysis, and assist in audit procedures, workpapers, and reports while learning audit concepts and software tools in a professional office setting.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of relevant experience (internship preferred)
• Current enrollment at an accredited college/university in accounting/finance or related field
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with audit teams to perform data entry, documentation, and basic analysis of financial information
• Assist in conducting audit procedures, including substantive and control testing
• Support maintenance of audit files and documentation to be accurate and compliant with firm standards
• Assist in preparing workpapers and audit reports
• Assist in compiling financial data and transactions for audit analysis
• Participate in basic analytical procedures to identify trends and potential issues

Education

Pursuing degree in accounting, finance, or related field
